  • Byron Bay: a melting pot of surfers, hippies and backpackers, Byron popular for its live music, alternative lifestyle, festivals and beaches.  Dolphins are visible from the shore all year round, or visit the lighthouse to walk out to Australia’s most easterly.

  • Coffs Harbour: 4-wheel driving, white-water rafting, diving, sea kayaking, surfing

  • Canberra: the nation’s capital lies within the Australian Capital Territory, and history buffs will enjoy the local sights including the Australian War Memorial, the National Museum of Australia and the Royal Australian Mint.

  • Snowy Mountains: this area houses Australia’s tallest summit, Mt Kosciusko, and the mountains are a popular tourist spot for skiing and snowboarding in winter.  Thredbo and Perisher Blue are the two premier ski regions.
